Club chief suggests separate sections for black fans in football stadiums

A Dynamo Kiev stadium chief has suggested that creating a separate section for black fans in the stadium can reduce the cases of racisms in stadiums.

The Ukraine side is facing UEFA actions after a shocking video of four black men being attacked in the home end of the Olimpiyskiy Stadium during last week’s goalless draw with Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League.

The director of Dynamo’s stadium Volodimir Spilchenko said segregation can combat those types of incident in the future.

“We are trying, maybe, to make a special sector (for black fans), In order to avoid the manifestation of racism, “ Spilchencko is reported to say in an interview by the Washington Post.

UEFA has charged Dynamo Kiev after the incident and the verdict will be revealed after investigations.

The charges include , Racist behaviour - Art. 14 of the UEFA disciplinary regulations (DR), Crowd disturbances - Art. 16 (2) DR, Stairways blocked - Art. 38 of the UEFA safety security regulations

The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body will reach their verdict later today.
