Scotland centre Duncan Taylor has agreed a multi-year contract extension with Premiership leaders Saracens.

Since arriving at Allianz Park in the 2011-12 season and has made 81 appearances for Saracens in all competitions, scoring seven tries.

The versatile back – who is included in Vern Cotter's squad for the upcoming Six Nations – was integral in Saracens' charge to the Premiership title last season, and has scored once in seven appearances this term.

"To extend my contract here was such an easy decision to make," Taylor – who has 12 international caps – told the club's official website.

"Saracens are such a great club filled with great people and great players, we're doing well at the moment in all competitions and it’s such an enjoyable place to come to every day.

"The club has helped me develop into the player I am today, and have put it in so much work which has seen me improve both on and off the pitch.

"I thoroughly enjoy every minute playing alongside these boys and I’m delighted to have committed my long-term future to the club to continue to do that."
