“The story is not true.” “I can confirm that the rumour about Mr. Jacobs is definitely not true…Mr. Allotey Jacobs transited Heathrow this morning without incident,” Jon Benjamin tweeted on Sunday afternoon.
Reports of Allotey Jacobs busted at the Heathrow Airport were rife on social media and in the media on Sunday.
The rumour opined that Bernard Allotey Jacobs was allegedly arrested in connection with his involvement in drug related money laundering offences.

But Jon Benjamin outrightly denied all the allegeations leved against the NDC chairman.
