According to the judge, Justice Getrude Torkonoo, the judicial council was performing its mandatory administrative and supervisory role hence their action could not be described as illegal as being claimed by the judges.
The eight judges came to court after raising issues with the procedure adopted by the judicial council to handle the allegations leveled against them.
