The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has indicated that all outstanding parliamentary primaries could be cleared on Saturday, June 27.

The party last Saturday held primaries in 245 constituencies with “a variety of issues” in the remaining constituencies prompting a hold-up.
But speaking on TV3’s Midday Liveon Monday, June 15, NPP’s Director of Elections Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah said the party seeks to arbitrate all the issues at the 30 constituencies in order to plan ahead for the future.
“[By] 27 June when most of them will be cleared…I am sure the party will be looking at the future more clearly,” he said.
The following constituencies where there are a variety of outstanding issues relating to the primaries; which are being addressed will not be able to participate in the primaries:
In the Ashanti Region, the constituencies are; New Edubiase, Akrofuom, Adansi Asokwa, Manhyia North, Juaben and Kumawu.
The Greater Accra Region has 10 affected constituencies including, Dome- Kwabenya, Tema West, Tema Central, Tema East, Ayawaso Central, Okaikoi South, Klottey Korle, Oboom – Domeabra, Ablekuma West and Krowor.
The Upper East Region has Talensi and Upper West Region is Nadowli Kaleo.
In the Volta Region, Ho Central, Nkwanta South, North Dayi, Krachi Nchumuru and Ketu North.
In the Brong Ahafo Region, Kintampo North has been affected.
The Central Region has Upper Denkyira West.
The Western Region has Bia East, Bia West, Juaboso, Akontombra and Kwesimintim.
