A waiter in Karawas, Northern Cyprus, stabbed a customer during an argument over the bill, the Cyprus Mail reported on Saturday.
The attacker was arrested and the injured party was taken to hospital.
The incident took place at a restaurant in Karawas on Friday evening. A 30-year-old waiter stabbed a customer in the shoulder and arm with a knife.
The 48-year-old injured man was transported to hospital. Doctors assured that his life was not in danger. The waiter was arrested and an investigation was initiated into the case.
Karawas is located in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), which is only recognised by Ankara.
