Collins Quarner to play for the Black Stars
The Ghana Football Association is working towards the nationality switch involving Collins Quarner according to SportsObama.com
Quarner, who stands at 6’3ft could be a surprising addition to James Kwesi Appiah’s set-up in their bid to earn good results in the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Collins Quarner played for Germany at the U-20 level level, but he has announced his readiness to feature for the Black Stars of Ghana.
According to SportsObama a source in the FA hinted the sports news portal that the association wanted the striker plying his trade in the English Premier League (EPL) to be available for last month’s friendlies against Mexico and the USA, but delays with his FIFA switch hindered the move.
The 26-year-old striker for new English Premier League side Huddersfield Town has registered 26 career goals in 159 games and scored three goals for his side to help them book a place back to the topflight league.
