News reports have revealed that a concerned father has published an ad for his 26-yr-old virgin daughter in a Christian magazine.

Even stranger, is the fact that the concerned dad identified as Stephen Stewart, reportedly placed the ad in the jobs section of the magazine, complete with a message to the prospective groom.

The Daily Beast reports that the ad describes Rachael Stewart as "godly, gorgeous, athletic, educated, careered, humorous, travelled, bilingual, 26-year-old virgin.

The ad also describes the prospective groom as:

“You: unworthy, though becoming less so daily."

Christianity Today has since apologized for the publication, pulling the ad from the magazine, described as "demeaning and in poor taste."

The issue of the magazine in which the ad had been posted, had unfortunately made its way out before the publication could be pulled, leaving little or nothing to be done about the ad that many has perceived as offensive.

Editor in chief for Christian today, Mark Galli, says:

"We want everything in our magazine to reflect beautiful orthodoxy, and this ad did not.

"We have taken a hard look at our ad review process, made some changes, and we can assure our readers that no ad like this will appear again."

Weirdly, Rachel seemed to find humor in the ad, commenting on a since deleted blog post which people had drawn her attention to, saying:

"At least it’s appropriate they placed it in the Employment Opportunities section because putting up with this father-in-law's shenanigans is a full time job, without any paid vacation."

Rachel reportedly wrote about how amused she had been, calling the ad “remarkable” on her blog.

She went on to recount how she had called her father about the ad placed for her future spouse, with Stephen reportedly shutting his office door before going on to defend his actions, also reading it out loud to her.

Rachel reveals that she was “impressed, but not surprised.”

Joking about the ad in her blog post, Rachel said:

“I’m just nervous if this doesn’t work out, next I’ll find my face plastered on a billboard. Oh gosh, now I’m giving him ideas."
