Fire guts EC office in Tepa
The Ashanti Fire Officer, Semekor Fiadzo who confirmed the incident to Pulse.com.gh said they would soon launch an investigation into the incident.

According to an eyewitness, the fire started around 1am and has destroyed all valuable items in the office including the biometric verification machines (BVM).

Even though the cause of the fire is not readily known, eyewitnesses suspect arson.
When pulse.com.gh contacted the Regional Fire Officer, Semekor Fiadzo he confirmed it and said “investigations will be launched immediately after my visit to the site, I’m on my way to the site currently.”
The Tepa police command has also commenced investigation to establish the cause of the fire.
