67-year old man killed, daughter nearly raped by armed robbers in Oyibi
She said the men repeatedly hit his father with the slab until blood oozed out of his head and was unable to stand on his feet.

His death was confirmed by the daughter who was also nearly raped during the incident.
Narrating the incident to Joy News' Maxwell Agbada, she said, "my dad was trying to prevent goats from entering his compound when the armed robbers attacked."

‘'They beat him until blood started oozing out from his head,’ she said. According to her, she could not bear the sight of her father go through that pain so she decided to go to his rescue", she painfully added.
Earlier that day, she said they had withdrawn some money from the bank which she gave all to the robbers but they weren't still satisfied. They stripped her naked and one was on the verge of raping her if not for the plea of the other robbers.
The Oyibi area has seen a spate of 24 robberies within late January and February this year alone. The robbers are yet to be apprehended.
