The flagbearer of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has admitted to challenges at the national executive level of the party giving the assurance that he will do whatever is possible to unite the party.
The presidential candidate during his 'Rise and Build' tour reiterated the need for unity in the party ahead of the 2016 elections.

According to Nana Addo, "There is disunity in every party but NPP is ready to cooperate with system and economy."
Speaking on Citi FM Monday morning, Nana Addo admitted that there are challenges at the national level of the party adding that it has not affected the grassroot level of the NPP.
"Any honest person will admit that there are challenges at the national executive level of the party..., the challenges at the national executive level of the party has not affected us at the grassroot level," he noted.
The nationwide tour by the NPP flagbearer kicked off in the Volta region, proceeded to the Eastern region, Upper West region and currently in the Upper East region to meet and interact with the party’s support base, regional and constituency executives.
Meanwhile, Nana Addo has ended his 3-day tour of the Ashanti Region, with a firm assurance to the people of the region, and Ghanaians at large, that he is going to assemble one of the best governments ever seen in the history of Ghana, a government that will bring prosperity to all Ghanaians under his tenure of office, God-willing, beginning in 2017.
The NPP flagbearer maintained he is coming into office to do a job for Ghana, and, thus, urged all NPP faithful to work hard, employ the use of decorous language amongst themselves and in their discourse with the electorate, and, together, rise and help rebuild Ghana.
