The aspirants are former President John Mahama, Joshua Alabi, Alban Bagbin, and Sylvester Mensah.
The rest are Ekow Spio-Garbrah, Goosie Tanoh and Nurudeen Idrissu for the NDC race in January 2019.

Mahama, Professor Alabi, Alban Bagbin and Sylvester Mensah successfully filed theirs on Monday.
Nurideen Iddrisu, Goosie Tanoh and Spio-Garbrah filed their nominations to contest the presidential race on Tuesday.
A presidential hopeful of the party, Stephen Atubiga has withdrawn from the presidential race of the party.
He has called for support for former President John Mahama to lead the party to victory in the 2020 elections.
In a letter to the General Secretary of the party, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, he explained that "Having submitted myself to counsel, prayers and direction, I wish to withdraw from the NDC flagbearship race ahead of the 2020 general elections.
"After a fathomless deliberation and consultation with well-wishers, and my team, I have decided to throw my weight behind His Excellency John Dramani Mahama."
Also, Spio-Garbrah submitted his forms and overpaid the filing fee by adding GH¢5,000 to the original GH¢300,000 fee.

He said his reluctance to pay the original GH¢400,000 filing fee was not as a result of his incapability or unwillingness to contribute to the party, but rather a matter of principles.
Nurideen Iddrisu after filing his nominiations said he is readt to compete and willing to serve and change the fortunes of the NDC if elected flagbeaber of the party.
