Mahama meets NDC Council of Elders

Former president John Mahama has been introduced to the Council of Elders as the flag bearer of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to lead the party to victory in the 2020 general elections.

Mahama was introduced to the Elders to discuss a number of issues on the fortunes of the NDC ahead of the 2020 polls.

Mahama speaking to the Council of Elders assured them of his determination to lead and build the NDC into a stronger and united organisation. 

He said "We, as always, had fruitful discussions on a number of issues, and I took the opportunity to express my appreciation for their support and the wisdom they’ve always found time to share with me." 

"I also assured the Council of my determination to lead and build the NDC into a stronger and united organisation," he added.
