The flagbearer of the New Patriotic party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Sunday, October 9, 2016 launched the 2016 manifesto of the party at the Trade Fair Centre, Accra.
Speaking at the launch, Nana Addo outlined his visions for the country if voted into power.

The vice presidential nominee of the New Patriotic Party, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia also said the NDC-led administration which has been entrusted with the duty of overseeing the national purse is rather emptying the content into their private pockets.
Some sections of Ghanaians have asked the NPP to come out clean on how it intends to implement its “one factory, one dam” policy, as well as its “one district, one factory” promise.
But Dr Bawumia responded by saying that “don’t ask where the money is coming from. If you stop stealing we will use the money for development.”
He argued that Ghana is a rich country and needs people from the NPP who can manage its resources well to improve the lives of Ghanaians.
