Paul Adom -Otchere explains and analyzes Akufo-Addo's response to Amidu (Video)

Ace journalist Paul Adom-Otchere has explained in detail the response of President Nana Akufo-Addo to allegations raised by the former Special Prosecutor Martin Amidu.

Martin Amidu on Monday, November 16, 2020, resigned from his position as the Special Prosecutor.

In a resignation letter to the President, Mr. Amidu said: "The one condition upon which I accepted to be nominated as the Special Prosecutor when you invited me to your Office on 10th January 2018 was your firm promise to me that you will respect and ensure same by your Government for my independence and freedom of action as the Special Prosecutor."

Martin Amidu also alleged ineterference amongst other things from the presidency.

But in a swift response, the Executive Secretary to President Nana Akufo-Addo, Nana Bediatuo Asante issued a nine-page document responding to all the allegations leveled against the President and his office.

It is on the back of this that host of award winning political talk show, Good Evening Ghana, Paul Adom-Otchere, has chastised Ghana's former Special Prosecutor Martin Amidu by critically analysing the letters from the two parties.
