The event which is strictly by invitation is expected to involve about 100 amateur golfers cut across the country who will compete for honours whilst also networking in s socialisation atmosphere under the auspices of the MTN sponsors.

Celebrity Golf Club to host MTN Invitational tournament Saturday
The greens of Celebrity Golf Club in Sakumono, near Tema is the setting this Saturday, 14 December when the final MTN Invitational golf tournament of the year tees off to an expected tough competition.

This is billed to climax all golf tournaments for the year and is MTN’s way of engaging and appreciating its high value clients – golfers, in this instance for their loyalty to the brand throughout the year.
The one-day competition is to be played under the theme, 'MTN Business, your one-stop-shop for ICT needs' with MTN board chairman, Ishmael Yamson in attendance as Special Guest of honour.
Many of Ghana's top golfers have indicated their mindset geared towards ending the year victorious when the competition tees off at 8am prompt, Saturday morning at Celebrity Golf Club of course.

Also expected to play at the tournament are CEOs and MDs of some of Ghana's biggest companies who are also clients and cherished subscribers of MTN
"As always, there are a lot of surprises for all golfers who show up for the friendly competition. Prizes such as MTN devices, trophies and souvenirs to be given to winners," said a statement from MTN.
