25th Anniversary of Premier League Chelsea top list of highest spenders in the past 25 years

The English Premier League marked its 25th anniversary on 25th August, 2017

English Premier league clubs have spent more monies on transfers than any other league in the past 25 years and as the league celebrate it 25th anniversary, here are the highest spenders.

Since 1992 the English Premier League clubs have spent a massive £15,247,936,360.73 on transfers.

Chelsea lead the park in terms of the big money spenders in the past 25 years.

Incidentally, Leeds, who have not been a Premier League club since the 2003/04 season are in the top 20 big spenders having shelled out £257,358,052.08.

These are the 10 highest spenders in the history of the English Premier League (EPL), since 1992 when the English topflight league was rechristened.
