Ghana to play two friendlies ahead of AFCON

The Black Stars as part of the preparation for the 2017 AFCON will play two friendly games in the United Arab Emirates.

The Black Stars left Accra on Monday evening for the UAE where they will embark on a 12-day camping before leaving to Gabon for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Coach Avram Grant has lined up two low profile games to keep the team good shape for the Africa Cup of Nations.

However, the two oppositions are yet to be announced, but it is understood that the Black Stars are expected to face some of the other African countries who will also be preparing in Al Ain for the AFCON.
