Betting companies are not the downfall of Ghana Football - GHALCA Chairman

Ghana League Club Chairman Kudjoe Fianoo clears the misconception that betting companies are a canker in Ghana Football.

This development stems from an allegation involving Hearts of Oak’s operation manager Joshua Acquah as he was being put under investigation over a betting scandal.

Ghanaian referee Joseph Lamptey was also confirmed by FIFA to be banned for life for manipulating a world cup qualifier between South Africa and Senegal in 2016 as he was found guilty for unlawfully influencing the game to fall in line with a particular betting pattern.
