The game which was scheduled for Saturday 28th May, 2016 in France has been called off, after Guinea pulled out.

“We received a letter from the match agent of our friendly game against Guinea that Guinea has pulled out of the game," George Afriyie, the Black Stars management committee chairman told Happy FM.

“As a result of this there will be no game between Ghana and Guinea in France on Saturday. Because it was a last minute arrangement, there was a back and forth regarding it, so the organisers of the game won’t pay us any compensation for that.

“However, we would try and see if we can arrange a friendly on 7 June, 2016, which is a FIFA day of friendly,”

The Black Stars game against Guinea was fixed to enable the former for prepare for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritius.
