Bechem United defeated MC Alger 2-1 in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium, Accra on Sunday.

The referee awarded Bechem United a penalty and Ahmed Toure, who stepped up for the kick threw the Algerian goalkeeper at wrong side to record the first goal.
The visitors, after conceding came into the game strongly and got a corner. The height advantage of MC Alger was utilised as they headed home to come level.
But Bechem United after pilling pressure and creating numerous goalscoring opportunities finally had a goal when substitute Yaw Osei Bonsu pounced on a ball to give his side a 2-1 win.
