Andre Ayew joins Muslim scholars to end Qur’anic recitations

The deputy skipper of the Black Stars has expressed he is a devoted Muslim after joining scholars to recite the holy Quaran as part of the activities to mark the Ramadan.

The 27-year-old who wants divine blessings from Allah in the Holy month of Ramadan has been involved in majority of the rituals during this period to feel fulfilled spiritually before joining his team West Ham United for pre-season.

Andre Ayew and his brother Jordan Ayew had earlier paid a surprise visit to Muslim brothers at the Nima mosque on Friday to worship with them and also donated some food items and the former has subsequently crowned it with the annual Qur’anic recitations.
