Everton joins race for Ghanaian striker Benjamin Tetteh

Ghanaian striker Benjamin Tetteh is on the radar of Premier League side Everton.

Ben Tetteh

Tetteh has been on a sensational form this season in the Czech topflight league with Sparta Prague, having scored nine goals in 15 appearances.

The performance of the former Black Satellites striker has made him attract interest from several clubs in Europe including Premier League outfits Wolves and Burnley, with Everton being the latest to join the race for his signature, according to reports in England.

It has also been widely reported this season that Galatasaray made an 8 million euros bid for Benjamin Tetteh, but the deal couldn’t go through.

Meanwhile, a more expensive striking option linked with the Toffees is Espanyol striker Borja Iglesias , who has a 28 million euros buy-out clause.

According to Marca Everton were ready to activate the clause, but Iglesias has turned down the chance to move to England preferring to remain in Spain.
