The 2016/17Ghana Premier League (GPL) kickstarted last weekend, with the Rainbow club drawing 0-0 away to Inter Allies.
However, the club’s arrow head believes he has what it takes to become the goal king this season.
Dauda scored nine goals last season, but was hit by a series of niggling injuries towards the end of the season.
However, the striker insists with hard work his targets are achievable.
“I always say as a striker it is your duty to score. If you are a striker and you are not scoring you have to get worried,” Dauda said.
“It is not easy but you have to put in much effort and I am doing just that, last season I was Hearts of Oak top scorer.
“But this season I am going for the top scorer award in the Ghana Premier League.
“I will make use of any opportunity that comes my way and make sure I take my chances in matches. That is the only way I can achieve my target.”
