Kurt Okraku: Hearts’ signings better than past 7 seasons

The President for Dreams FC has commended the Phobians for making strategic signings ahead of the 2015-16 season.

Kurt Okraku has stated that the recruitment embarked on by Accra Hearts of Oak was better than the signings they did in the past seven seasons.

Hearts of Oak whipped the newly promoted Ghana Premier League side, Dreams FC 2-0 and 2-1 in the two sided pre-season friendly games at the adopted home grounds of the latter, which is the Dawu Park on Sunday.

The Phobians following a difficult last season and a run of poor results in the pre-season recruited new players like Samudeen Ibrahim, Cosmos Dauda, Benjamin Doe Atiso, Mustapha Essuman , Ibrahim Musah, Richard Akrofi, Samuel Yeboah and 2 others to augment their squad entering into the 2015-16 season and Kurt who saw Accra giants mesmerized his side has showed praises on their management for doing good business.

“I told Sowah Odotei that the signings Hearts of Oak have done this season is better than the signings they did in the previous 7 seasons.

“Hearts were well composed in the game and played to the instruction of their coach yesterday,” he told Happy FM.

Hearts of Oak have gone 6 seasons without a major trophy and finished just a place off the relegation zone.

The Ghana Premier league is set ,to commence on 20 February, 2016.
