Former Accra Hearts of Oak Goal keeper Sammy Adjei and current Hearts of Oak keeper Samuel Akurugu have paid tributes to the former Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak keeper

Both keepers who have been in post for the Accra based giants left affectionate messages for their fellow shot stopper on their Facebook walls.

Sammy Adjei posted a picture with the Late Soulama Abdoulaiye  with the caption

“Aww My brother My best friend May your soul rest in perfect peace.”

Current Hearts keeper Samuel Akurugu posted two threads of pictures.

The first one has a number shots which includes a picture of Akurugu and Soulama Abdoulaiye with Hearts goal keepers’ trainer Nassamu Yakubu.

The first one has the caption “R.I.P Number 16”. This is in commemoration of the keeper’s jersey number in Accra Hearts of Oak before his untimely death.

The other thread of pictures posted by Akurugu had the late Soaulama posing for a selfie and a shot of his funeral procession as he captions that one “Life is 2 short”.

Sammy Adjei was keeper in and out of Accra Hearts of Oak in the years of 1997 to 2013.
