This is why Luka Modric wants to leave Real Madrid

The Croatian captain’s agent has made it explicit his client wants a move away from the Santiago Bernabeau.

Luka Modric is eyeing a move to Inter Milan after the Nerazzuri came knocking at his door.

Inter Milan have made a mouthwatering offer for the services of Modric, 32.

Real Madrid who are not ready to lose the engine of the team’s midfield, after they lost their marksman Cristiano Ronaldo have offered to increase the current wages of the former Tottenham midfielder to a reported amount of 11m euros, which is a million better than Milan’s deal.

However, Luka Modric’s agent has insisted his client is seeking to join Inter Milan despite Madrid’s decision to give the Croat, a pay raise.

This is why Luka Modric has been enticed to join Milan, amid an improved new deal from Madrid.

Inter Milan are ready to hand the Croatia captain, 32, a four-year contract at the San Siro - and, at the end of that deal, the opportunity to finish his career at Chinese Super League club Jiangsu Suning, whose owners, Suning Holdings Group, are also the Nerazzurri's majority shareholders.

When he stays at Real Madrid, he is not guaranteed four years of football at the club, something that Inter Milan has guaranteed him and also a nice retirement package in the Chinese Super Ligue with Jiangsu Sunings.

Luka Modric, also feels there is no motivation to play for Madrid again, after having won everything with the Los Blancos.

In addition to the above, Luka Modric and his agent are capitalizing on a gentleman agreement between the Croatian and Real Madrid president Florentino Perez last season that he would let the 32-year old leave upon his request.
