Video: Kotoko stage comeback to beat Bechem United 3-1

Asante Kotoko came from a goal down to beat Bechem United 3-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium on matchday 12 of the Ghana Premier League on Friday night.

Hafiz Wonta Konkoni scored the match opener to unsettle the Porcupine Warriors.

But the hosts responded when they snatched the equalizer after goalkeeper Asempa failed to grab the ball before Martin Antwi capitalized on the blunder to register the equalizer.

But, Augustine Okrah benefited from another error from the Bechem United goalkeeper, when he tapped in a loose ball after the goalie had failed to grab it.

Asante Kotoko after recess opened fire on Bechem United as they dominated play.

Imoro Ibrahim put the game beyond Bechem United when he scored the third goal from a stunning freekick.

Ibrahim was voted the man of the match for his fabulous performance.

This is the first of the many matches the Kumasi giants will play at the Accra Sports Stadium after they changed their venue to Accra following the closure of the stadium for repair works.

Asante Kotoko have bounced back after two successive defeats- lost to Aduana Stars on matchday 11 and Deportivo United in the FA Cup round of 64.
