2016 NFL off-season schedule, draft order and free agents
The Denver Broncos won Super Bowl 50, which means the 2015-16 season is over and the 2016-17 season will begin soon.

2016 NFL Offseason Calendar
February 23–29: NFL Scouting Combine.March 1: Deadline for teams to designate franchise or transition players.March 7–9: Teams can begin negotiations on contracts with agents of players who will be unrestricted free agents.March 9: The 2016 league year begins. All 2015 player contracts expire, teams must be under the salary cup and players can begin to be signed and traded. April 4 and 18: Teams with new head coaches can start off-season workout programmes on April 4, and teams with returning coaches can start April 18.April 28–30: NFL Draft, ChicagoMay 6–9: Rookie minicamps can start.July 15: Teams that designated a franchise player must sign player to a contract or extension by this date.Mid-July: Training camp begins for teams
