2022 AWCON Qualifiers: Black Queens will face Nigeria in first round

The two giants will face each other in the WAFU Zone B.

In the draw that was held at CAF's headquarters in Cairo today, the winner of the first-round tie between Nigeria and Ghana will face Niger or Cote d’Ivoire in the second round.

This year's draw saw a higher representation as 45 member associations entered to take part in the qualifiers.

Morocco, have automatically qualified for the tournament as host thus 44 countries will take part in the qualifiers.
