The suspects, identified as Kofi Agyare, aka Bongo, and Iddrisu Yahaya, alias K2, were arrested from their hideout upon a tip-off, the Offinso District Police Commander, Superintendent of Police Mr Micheal Boateng has confirmed to the Daily Graphic.

Six suspects on Wednesday escaped from the custody of the Abofour Police in the Offinso.

The escapees were identified as Iddrisu Yahaya, aka K2; Kofi Agyare, aka Bongo; Kwame Frimpong, aka Rambo;  Pasoley Mahmound, Baba Evans and Akwasi Grumah.

One of the suspected criminals, Akwasi Grumah was standing trial for committing murder, while the remaining five were all to be prosecuted for alleged stealing.
