Residents in Abelempke and parts of Adabraka who were affected by the June 09, are still trying to collect what is left of their drowned perperties.

Long hours on rain caused flooding on some major roads in Accra as well as some residential areas.
This is despite a promise by the Accra Metropolitan assembly chief executive that steps have been taken to prevent heavy floods in the city.
Some of the flooded areas include parts of the George Walker Bush Highway popularly know as the N1, Abelemkpe, and Adabraka (Sahara and Odawna).
