Christian Atsu wins Man of the Match against Uganda

The Newcastle United speedster, Christian Atsu was adjudged the Man of the Match in Black Stars 1-0 win over the Cranes of Uganda in their AFCON group D opener on Tuesday.

The Black Stars winger emerged as the best player as Ghana defeated Uganda by a goal to nil on Tuesday.

Ghana piped Uganda 1-0 in their opening group D game in Port Gentil.

Christian Atsu created several goalscoring opportunities and dazzled the Cranes of Uganda with his swift moves to frustrate their defence men.

It was Andre Ayew who ended up breaking the deadlock of the game with the only goal of the game in the first half, after he scored from the spot kick.

Christian Atsu, was however, named the Total Man of the Match by CAF Technical Committee for his total influence in the game.
