Ghana’s AFCON opponent Mali lose against Burkina Faso

Mali lost their pre-Africa Cup of Nations game 2-1 against Mali on Saturday.

The Mali male senior national football team couldn’t stand the might of their Burkinabe counterparts, as they lost 2-1 on Saturday in a warm up game ahead of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.

Jonathan Zongo put the Stallions of Burkina Faso in the lead in the 40th minute and Bertrand Traore double their lead in the 59th minute.

But Mustapha Yatabaré pulled one back for Mali in the 70th minute.

The match was played in Marrakech where both teams are preparing for the tournament.
