The pitch in Port Gentil has become the focal point of the bad pitches at the AFCON with several teams attributing the high injury incidence to this.

Such was the fear for the pitch that none of the teams in Group D were allowed to warm up on the pitch prior to their second round matches at the venue on Saturday.

DRC who have been based in Oyem, used the opportunity after their first training session to acquaint themselves with the playing surface.

It might be the only opportunity they get before kick-off on Tuesday night.
