Isaac Sackey is one of the ten players who earned their first Black Stars call-up, after Kwesi Appiah announced his provisional 30-man squad for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier.

The youngster is a former player of Liberty Professionals.

Isaac Sackey left the shores of Ghana to ply his trade for Czech side FC Slovan Liberec, spending four consecutive season and had the opportunity to play in the UEFA Ueropa League and won the Czech Cup

Isaac Sackey currently plays for Turkish Super Ligue side Alanyaspor and has spent the last five years in Europe.

Sackey has made 21 appearances in the 2016-17 season, scoring twice for the Turkish side.
