Guinea started the competition on a good note with a 5-1 win over Gabon, but they were held to a 1-1 draw by Cameroon on Wednesday.
Ghana need just a point to finish on top of group A, while a win for Guinea will see them topple Ghana.
The Black Stars skipper, Eric Ayiah is riding the team on his shoulders having bagged four goals in two ties to emerge as the joint leading top scorer of the competition.
Djibril Fandje Toure has also scored goals in the competition for Guinea.
The game will kick off exactly 5:30pm Ghana time.
