After much deliberation, Al Horford is headed to Boston to play for the Celtics.

According to The Vertical, the four-year deal is worth $113million.

It was believed the Atlanta Hawks had won the fight moments before Horford's convincing tweet, with some reports even stating the Celtics and Washington Wizards had withdrawn their names from contention.

But in the end, Atlanta failed to offer a max contract — though they did add a fifth year — and Horford informed his old team he would be moving on.

The Celtics get a second All-Star to team with point guard Isaiah Thomas.

Horford, 30, averaged 15.2 points and 7.3 rebounds per game last season.

He also shot 34 percent from beyond the arc, proving his game has evolved during his nine-year career.

The Hawks secured small forward Kent Bazemore with a four-year $70m deal on Friday, so they at least retained one of their talented players.
