Black Stars captain buys first copy of Shatta Wale's album

The album of the ‘King of African Dancehall’ was launched at the Independence Square in Ghana on Friday, April 29, 2016.

Gyan revealed on social media on Saturday that he had bought the first copy of his classmate, Shatta Wale’s album tweeting:

“check out my classmate shatta wale’s album..am buying the first copy at an undisclosed amount..@shattawalegh”

Asamoah Gyan is currently with his Chinese Super League club Shanghai SIPG in China. The Ghanaian player helped his team to a 3-0 victory on Friday in their league game against Yanbian Funde at home.

The former Sunderland and Al Ain player will join his teammates to play Suwon Bluewings away from home next Tuesday.
