3 perish in Santasi house fire

The fire which started around 1:30am on Friday morning burnt to death the family of three as they were sleeping.

A fire outbreak in a house at Santasi in the Ashanti Region has killed three people.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.

Police are at the scene to identify the charred bodies for them to be conveyed to the morgue.

Earlier this month, seven people at Asante Mampong in the Ashanti Region were burnt to ashes after a building they were sleeping in caught fire.
