The fire which started at 3 a.m. burnt to death a man and his four children who were asleep in the house number WU279, Accra-based Joy FM reports.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.

Personnel from the Ghana Fire Service were at the scene trying to douse the flame as at the time of filing this story.

The bodies of the deceased have been sent to the Mampoase hospital for autopsy, pending further investigations.
