At 36 years of age, Australia batsman Adam Voges is enjoying his late introduction into Test cricket and is not thinking of retiring any time soon.

Australia batsman Adam Voges has no immediate plans to retire as he continues to enjoy a stunning end to his career.

Since making his Test debut in June 2015 at the age of 35, Voges has been a sensational success story for Australia.

In 15 Tests, Voges has made five centuries, scoring 1,337 runs at a remarkable average of 95.50.

Despite entering the twilight of his career, Voges insists he is not considering retiring any time soon.

"I haven't put a date or a time on anything just yet," he told cricket.com.au. "I'm thoroughly enjoying playing Test cricket.

"It took me a long time to get an opportunity and I'm certainly not in any rush to finish just yet.

"While I'm playing well, while I'm contributing, I can hopefully continue to help Australia win Test matches.

"I know the end is a lot closer than the start for me.

"But it's something I'll weigh up and see how I go series by series. There's no certainly no specific date on it yet."
