The RFU found Cavubati guilty at a disciplinary hearing in Bristol after the Fijian was charged following the Warriors' 20-13 Aviva Premiership loss to London Irish on Saturday.

Cavubati, who was also fined £500, is not free to play again until April 12.

"I would like to apologise to all my teammates, the coaches and supporters for the incident which occurred at the weekend," Cavubati said in a statement. "I was feeling suffocated while being held down. I was struggling to breathe and reacted in a way that I would never normally do.  "I sincerely apologise to Jebb Sinclair for this behaviour. It was uncharacteristic and this is not the type of player I am."
