Ghana maintained their 45th position on the latest Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) rankings and 8th on the continent.

There were no major changes in the ranking as leagues around the world were busy and therefore gave no room for A-international matches in April. The Black Stars raked in 682 points in April, same as their May accumulated points to remain 45th in the world and eighth in Africa.

Egypt remained the Africa No.1 country, followed by Senegal, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, DR Congo and Tunisia.

Brazil continued to reign as the highest rated nation in the world on the FIFA ranking, followed by Argentina, Germany, Chile and Colombia in that order.
