Bordeaux Begles missed the chance to move level with Top 14 leaders Racing 92 as they were held to a 13-13 draw by Toulouse.

Paul Perez crossed for the only try of a first half in which Bordeaux centre Romain Lonca was sin-binned to give Toulouse a 10-6 lead at half-time.

Metuisela Talebula Maijaina's 47th-minute try and Pierre Bernard's subsequent conversion turned the game in Bordeaux's favour.

But Toulouse will have been confident of flipping the momentum back in their favour 10 minutes later when Bordeaux wing Adam-Ashley Cooper saw yellow.

Luke McAllister's penalty levelled matters but Toulouse could not capitalise any further on their period of numerical superiority.

Bordeaux are two points behind Racing in third, with Toulouse four points further back in fifth.
