Charlotte Edwards ends England career

The 36-year-old batsman is the most capped female international cricketer after representing her country for 20 years, playing in 191 one-day internationals, 23 Tests and 95 Twenty20s.

Edwards skippered England for 10 years, but has opted to call time on her career at international level and quits as the leading run-scorer in women's ODIs with 5,992 and 2,605 T20I runs - more than any man or woman in the shortest format.

The long-serving Edwards also became only the second woman to be named Wisden Cricketer of the Year in her illustrious career.

Edwards guided England to ICC Women's World Cup and ICC World Twenty20 glory seven years ago and won the Ashes three times as captain.
