Leicester City manager pledges pizza for his team if they keep clean sheet
Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri might have noticed that his players love pizza after promising to buy it for each of them if they keep a clean sheet.
Ranieri's men have been flying high in the English Premier League and are currently second in the table after three wins and two draws.
Since April 1, the Foxes have Leicester have picked up more points (33) than any other Premier League side.
With Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy impressing in an attack, the Foxes have scored 11 goals but have not kept a clean sheet most times.
"I’ve told the players that when we keep a clean sheet, then I’ll pay for pizza for everybody," Leicester manager said.
'I want to buy them pizza. But maybe my players don’t want pizza it seems! Maybe they don’t like it.
"Perhaps they’re waiting for me to say they okay, I’ll give you a big dinner instead! Maybe they want me to improve the offer - a pizza and a hot dog perhaps."
Leicester City travel to the Britannia Stadium to face Stoke City on Saturday, September 18.
