Legendary former West Indies paceman Courtney Walsh has been appointed as Bangladesh's new bowling coach.

The Tigers have been in the market for a successor to Heath Streak after the ex-Zimbabwe captain opted not to stay on as bowling coach in May.

Windies great Walsh was on Thursday appointed for what will be his first major coaching position on the international stage.
