Has Essien switched to PUMA ?

Ghana midfielder Michael Essien's transfer from AC Milan to Greek giants Panathinaikos might not be the only significant football change in his life.

Essien has been spotted wearing PUMA boots while on pre-season with Panathinaikos who are also kitted by the German sports giants which has raised a few eyebrows considering his long standing relationship with PUMA's American rivals, Nike.

Essien was for many years one of the most visible brand ambassadors for Nike but it looks like his Greek adventure might have brought more changes to his sporting look.
