The report continue to say that the former general secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) was held hostage for about 45minutes by the bandits.

Dan Botwe's security man is currently Police custody as investigations commence into the attack.

Some of the items stolen by the robbers include his laptops, mobile phones and an undisclosed amount of money.

The attack comes on the back of the killing of the Abuakwa North MP Joseph Boakye Danquah by an alleged thief in February this year.
